The VAR Guy is reporting that some Ubuntu marketing material at LinuxWorld mentioned that Ubuntu is being run by 11% of US businesses, which was determined by a recent IDC report. As the VAR Guy mentioned, that does not mean that all of those 11 percent of businesses are running full Ubuntu stacks on all of their machines, but rather are a variety throughout the mix, with some in deployment, and some machines in testing. This is yet another example of Ubuntu being more widely accepted in the business world as a viable option.
