I have been running Fedora 8 for about a day now, just to see if I could get my broadcom chip to work. Instead of getting my wireless working, I noticed something else going on in the background:
The Fedora 8 “default” background changes color in accordance with the time. For example, in the morning the background has a light, almost white glow to it, visible in the top-right corner. By midday, the background is a blue-ish color. In the afternoon, the background has a slight tint of yellow. By night, the background is a dark blue.
