I probably should have seen this earlier, but I just now noticed that I can sign in to my AIM account via Gmail Chat.
This is GOOD!
After signing in, I can see all of the folks who are in my AIM account in my chat box, with an AIM icon showing whether or not they are online. Unfortunately, all the people who use AIM that I know, also happen to use Gmail.
Cool feature nonetheless!
Speaking of Gmail, I have started using their IMAP function to receive messages. This way I avoid having 20-30 messages marked “Unread” if I am using an email client such as Evolution or KMail.
