The Ubuntu 7.10 Beta has been released!
Some of the new features I am really excited about:
1. Compiz by default. 3-D desktop, with transparency!
2. Broadcom 4318 wireless driver in restricted-manager!
3. This one’s a biggie. plug-n-play printer support. Just plug your printer in to your computer, turn it on, and surprise! You now have a working printer.
4. OpenOffice 2.3 (release candidate… I think.)
